Welcome to My (New) Farming Journey: Expanding Roots in Ellenwood, GA

I’m excited to share that I now have a 3-acre farm just outside of Atlanta, where I’m continuing my mission to educate, inspire, and connect with anyone eager to grow their own food, herbs, flowers, and more.

As a Black farmer, owning my own land has been a game changer, allowing me to expand in ways I could never have imagined. It's a new chapter, but one rooted in the same passion and commitment I've carried through my decades of work in urban agriculture.

My story began in the 1990s, with a lesson from my neighbor Ed, who taught me the power of investing in the soil. By covering our community garden with leaves over winter, we created a thriving ecosystem that led to an abundant harvest the following spring.

That moment of powerful revelation sparked my passion for sustainable farming, and soon after, I sold my first crop—a couple of pints of cherry tomatoes that went to a local chef.

For over 30 years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping others start and grow their own gardens and farms. My past and current urban farming projects are marked by innovation and creativity, overcoming countless obstacles with a vision of what is possible.

Now, with more land to work with, I’m thrilled to offer even more insights, practices, and knowledge to keep the circle of learning unbroken.

I want to help you succeed on your journey, whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your garden or farm to the next level. From personalized coaching to expert consulting, training and speaking, I’m here to share the insights, tools, and strategies that have helped me and countless others create food freedom.

Feel free to reach out, ask questions, and connect with me on social media. Let’s grow together!
